So I work in a hospital right? And there are sick people, so you would think that people don't want to be there, but that is not true.  For instance, we have people discharged from the hospital, and they spend the REST of the day, just hanging out in their room, waiting for the second coming I guess because I can't see any other reason for them to stay.  I'm considering we start a check-out time like in a hotel.
"Well hello Mr. (insert which ever name you wish). It looks like Dr. Drake Ramora discharged you today. I'd like you to know that check out time is 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. If you leave after these days you don't get a wheelchair ride down, we will push you down the stairs, you cannot visit the ER after that...." If only I could use this 'script' while at work.
I guess I could see this as the cup half full. Maybe they want to stay because we provide such "excellent care." Yeah, that's it.

  1. So very true. You couldn't possibly be talking about 309 over the weekend could you? :) I think we should have check out times too. It would save us a lot of juice.
